GMS and Associates are looking for experienced Healthcare Professionals to act as Medicolegal Expert Witnesses in clinical negligence, personal injury litigation and other areas such as professional regulation.

We are currently looking for specialists in following clinical fields:

- Tissue Viability Nurses
- Accidents and Emergency Nurses
- General Nursing Experts
- Paediatric Nurses
- DoLS Nurses
- Midwifery
- Care/Nursing Home Nurses
- Orthopaedic
- Diabetes

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 10 years or more experience in chosen clinical field, currently in clinical practice or who have up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience. You will undertake this work on a private/self-employed basis.

**Your role as an Expert Witness**

You will use your valuable knowledge & expertise to provide your professional opinion on clinical matters within your area of expertise.

This can include:

- Reviewing documentation
- Reporting on breaches of duty/causation/condition & prognosis
- Attending case conferences with lawyers
- Responding to queries
- Writing statements
- Undertaking injury assessments
- Giving evidence in court
