JOB TITLE Office Manager/Finance Assistant

LOCATION Chesham
HOURS 37.5 Hours
JOB DESCRIPTION The Finance Assistant role is a position to support the business continued growth in the market and ensure a high-level customer service experience. The role will work closely with Sales, Service and Support teams.

This is a key admin role. Office based - Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

KEY DUTIES
- Managing the company Sales Ledger - Approving sales orders, raising all invoices/credit notes and resolving any customer/sales rep/management queries
- Providing the dispatch team with commercial invoices for shipment to both UK and worldwide Customers
- Ensuring the company finance package (Netsuite) is updated with all customer data amendments, contacts details, special requirements, VAT rates etc
- Credit Control - Following company procedures to recover all outstanding monies owed, improving the process where possible and taking responsibility for the debt report
- Issuing monthly statements to all customers and resolving any queries as a result
- Assisting the Company accountant with external audit queries as well as the annual audit
- Assisting with Purchase ledger duties - queries and filing, as well providing holiday cover
- Office Management - Sourcing and raising PO’s for office supplies, obtaining correct levels of expenditure authorisation and supplier invoices for payment.
- Admin Support for the office - holiday cover for sales admin support role
- Helping with recruitment and induction activities for new starters
- HR and Director admin support
- Ownership of company landline (mínimal calls mostly finance anyway hence it is monitored by finance)
- Generally working as part of a team to do whatever needs to be done on a day-to-day basis to keep the business performing at a high level

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ? Excellent command of spoken and written English
? Good communication skills
? Can do attitude
? Well organised
? Self motivated
? Competent with basic Finance
? Experience with O365
? Outlook, Excel
? Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role
? Desirable: Netsuite software user
