**Job Summary**
Arrow Group Global Limited have been established in the office furniture industry since 2009 and are successful in the design and manufacture of office furniture and associated accessories. We are a trade only company making all our sales through our network of dealers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Sourcing Specialist based at our Head Office in Lowestoft, Suffolk. The purpose of the role is to secure and enhance the company’s supply chain by sourcing new manufacturing partners and suppliers, developing existing supplier relationships and improving logístical & cost efficiencies in the supply chain.
The product range includes office furniture such as desking, seating and storage systems, and accessory products such as monitor arms, power modules and cable management. Knowledge and understanding of the materials, components and production processes involved is essential to this role.
**Duties and Responsibilities include;**
Having an extensive knowledge of the company, its aims, objectives and its strategic direction.
Having a competent understanding of the company’s products and the processes involved in their manufacture.
Sourcing potential suppliers and assessing them against the company’s requirements to determine suitability.
Maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing suppliers and working to develop their value further.
Working closely with the Product Development and Purchasing teams to deliver required outcomes from the company’s business plan.
Obtaining and comparing quotes from different suppliers and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
Assessing complex quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
Negotiating price, quantity, and lead times with suppliers.
Ensuring that the company’s Intellectual Property is protected, and Non-Disclosure Agreements are in place when appropriate.
Ensuring that all contracts relating to product procurement are watertight.
Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.

**Essential skills and attributes;**
Proven experience in sourcing processes.
An innovative approach to finding new suppliers.
A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
Strong negotiation skills.
Sound time-management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Close attention to detail.
**Desirable skills and attributes;**
Working knowledge of CAD drawing programs.
Experience of sourcing from countries outside the UK, especially in Europe, and overcoming language barriers.
**Qualifications**
Educated to A Level standard or above.
**Information**
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17.00, Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
Attractive salary package, commensurate with experience.
Company bonus scheme.
Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk. The role is primarily office-based but remote working is also permitted as appropriate.
