AG Hotels Group is currently seeking an adept and confident Night Receptionist to join our team at **the Orchid Hotel, Epsom (KT19 0SH)**. We are in search of an individual who embodies our commitment to prioritizing guest satisfaction and exemplifies a fervent dedication to customer service and hospitality.

In the role of Night Receptionist, you will undertake the pivotal responsibility of ensuring the seamless operation of front desk procedures, conducting meticulous fire safety and security checks, and creating an environment where guests experience utmost convenience throughout their stay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing assistance with any inquiries or requests during these times.
- Ensuring the security and safety of the premises during nighttime hours.
- Participating in thorough shift handovers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Handling any unforeseen issues or challenges that may arise during the night.
- Conducting regular inspections of the property to identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensuring all fire escapes are secured.
- Conducting hourly walkthroughs of all corridors to ensure noise levels and security are maintained.
- Setting up for scheduled meetings as indicated on the board in reception.
- Hoovering and mopping all wooden floors from the restaurant to the bar area, including behind the bar and public areas by reception, every night.
- Cleaning and polishing any cutlery that has not been done, ensuring there are no water marks.
- Fully setting up breakfast tables with napkins and other necessary items.
- Remaining visible at the reception desk when tasks are completed
- Maintaining a tidy and clutter-free reception area. Dispose of any rubbish or empty boxes in the bins outside.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of PMS is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and basic computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeaner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
