Role Overview

Based within one of our very prestigious GP clinics, your role will primarily be focusing on delivery of coordination and administrative duties to the Clinical Director of Primary Care and his busy practice. The practice attracts high net worth clientele who have exacting expectations on the level of service provided.

Under the general guidance of the Primary Care Manager, you will be responsible for all activities across multiple clinics. You’ll provide a link between Hospital, Patients, Consultant or other users. Coordinate patient registration, preparation of outpatient accounts, receipting payment for hospital services and book follow up appointments.

What you’ll do:

- Ensure that the very best quality service is provided in a warm and caring environment.
- Deal with medical reports and correspondence in a consistent and timely manner.
- Coordination of entire patient journey and administrative tasks that are required to ensure the efficient running of the practice.
- Liaise and coordinate with different teams and departments ensuring the patient is looked after and has any additional requests i.e., diagnostics tests or consultant bookings are scheduled.
- Promote good relations with clinicians, other hospital departments and outside organizations to ensure that the reputation of the GP Practice and the hospital are upheld.
- Receive payment from all patients in respect of hospital services provided and maintain integrity of personal float. Ensure transactions are correctly recorded and receipted. Allocate cash to carriers or patients in accordance with billing agreements as required.

What you’ll bring:

- Experience of working in a dynamic administrative position ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrable capacity of managing and coordinating busy diaries.
- Ability in working as a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working autonomously.
- Flexibility as to working patterns in line with requirements.
