**The Role**:
To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Additional qualifications in child health.
- Completion of physical health observations training
- Experience of working with people with long term mental health/ LD problems
- Experience of working with children with a learning disability
- Knowledge of the issues that can affect children suffering from long term mental health and learning disabilities
- Working knowledge of autistic spectrum disorders
- Ability to be flexible to service needs.
- Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence

**Contract type**:
Permanent

Part Time

22.5 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Community Learning Disability CAMHS Services within Airbles Road Centre.

The working pattern for this role Monday - Friday 9-5pm
