**Professional Qualifications**: Qualified, capable/ willing to gain qualification and/or have equivalent level of skills and experience to: NVQ level 3, IDVA/YPVA trained or equivalent

8. Experience of providing housing related support and/or working with victims of domestic abuse (or other specialist knowledge of domestic abuse services).

9. Ability to assess the needs of children.

10.Knowledge and understanding of issues that relate to vulnerable children, young people and families.

11.Experience of being able to respond to difficult situations and handle emergencies without immediate supervision

12.Experience of liaising with external agencies including multi-agency working.

13.Able to deal with complex cases.

14. Ability to produce monitoring information.

15. An understanding of and commitment to Equality and Diversity

- Must have childcare qualifications such as BTEC/ NNEB/ NVQ (required)
