_**CAMHS Support Worker**_

**Contract **Permanent **Hours **FT - 37.5 hours per week

We are a specialist CAMHS Tier 3 service in the Black Country Mental Health Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Our service is based in Cradley working with young people and their families offering a range of therapeutic interventions to young people with severe and complex mental health needs. Our service consists of a multi-disciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Psychotherapists and Social Workers. We offer community support to young people and their families liaising with community agencies, health and education

**Main duties of the job**

**The post holder will be required to**:
Support members of the multi-disciplinary team in assessment, observations, consultations and care co-ordinating a package of care to young people and their families with complex needs.

Participate in the planning, delivery and evaluation of therapeutic group work for both young people and parents.

Provide families with practical and emotional support aimed at developing practical skills, confidence and engagement in therapeutic interventions and provide support alongside clinicians in the ASC and ADHD Clinics.

**Essential criteria**
- Possession of an appropriate qualification or relevant experience and can demonstrate its relevance to this role.
- Training in an allied field

**Experience**

- Experience of working in mental health services or a service that supports its service users.

**Salary**: £25,147.00-£27,596.00 per year
