Autism Support Worker (Female)

We are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Bank support workers to support an individual with autism within the **BRIERLEY HILL **area.
**Role Description**
At LDA Care we are committed to Equal Opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Autism Support Workers to work with a young autistic lady. The individual will be living on her home, so we are looking for Support Workers who can provide **24-hour** support throughout her day.

- Good initiative and good at coming up with ideas
- Good at giving personal space but offering safe touch/hugs when needed.
- Happy to support me with swimming and other physical activities I enjoy.

- staying calm in a crisis and helping me to know what to do
- Good at recognising health needs and being able to respond promptly and calmly

**About The Role within the Company**:
You will be part of a small team of dedicated Support Workers and working alongside the Team Leader/facilitator and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner in providing excellent support to this young lady who deserves the best support to enjoy a quality life.
You will have a willingness to undertake training on Positive Behaviour Support, Safeguarding Vulnerable adults, Autism, and person-centred planning, Total Communication and other specific training that will be provided. You will be line managed by the Team Leader/facilitator.

**COVID-19 considerations**:

**Schedule**:
- 12 hour shifts - 10:30 to 22:30 Days / 22:30 to 10:30 Nights.
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Overtime
**Licence/Certification**:
- Autism (preferred)
- Driving Licence (**MUST**)
- **_Refer a friend bonus is payable at_**
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift.
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
