This role will include providing administration and clerical support to the Employee Relations Team.

Main duties for the Employee Relations Team will include note taking at formal meetings, typing, responding to telephone enquiries, use of equipment such as photocopiers, the maintenance of the Employee Relations information systems held in the department and providing reports on a regular basis for performance monitoring purposes.

This is an autonomous post requiring the post holder to provide full administrative support to maintain and develop existing systems and processes. This post requires the ability to work on own initiative, dealing with all aspects of the department in a professional and highly confidential manner.

Provide an administrative and clerical service to the Employee Relations Team which includes distribution of information, typing, photocopying, organising meetings, maintaining databases and staff records, filing records whilst adhering to the Data Protection Act at all times.

Take accurate minutes and typing notes from informal hearings and investigation meetings.

Develop and maintain data reporting systems held within the department, and provide reports on casework monitoring purposes both internal and external to the Trust.

Maintain the electronic staff records (ESR) system and provide reports on a
regular basis.

Coordinate logistics for suite of Employee Relations training, including; preparing training materials, manage attendees through IRIS, coordinate room bookings.

Attend, contribute to, and participate in and take brief notes/action points for any departmental meetings in support of the Employee Relations team.
