**Home working or can chose to work out of local Children’s Society office (if there is one in locality) There will be an expectation to do face to face work with young people and travel across the locality that is being covered.**

37 hours a week

Permanent position but with a provisional end date for funding of 31.3.2025

**DN grade **£23,855.76

**Do you want to support a team who work with children, young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties?**

In order to be considered for this post you will have to demonstrate that you already have:
**Skills**
- Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with all clients - Practicing in a non-judgement and anti-discriminatory manner
- Competencies in undertaking risk assessments within scope of practice

**Work-based Knowledge**
- Knowledge of emotional health and mental health presentations and an understanding of evidence based and best practice interventions.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the issues surrounding biological, socio
- economic factors and mental health.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding issues and risks for children, young people and young adults aged 8-18.
- Able to demonstrate a knowledge of the issues that children, young people and young adults face when accessing mental health services.

**Experience**
- Evidence of working in settings with people age 8-18 who have emotional, behavioural and/or mental health concerns.
- Evidence of providing 1:1 sessions and groups.
- Evidence of working in partnership
- Evidence of assessments and Outcome tools
