TCHC is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to grow and develop in a dynamic environment including hands-on training and mentorship in an entry-level administration role. We have a position available in our GAPS Thurrock centre in Grays, Essex. Our GAPS Thurrock Centre provides further education for learners aged 16-18 or 19-24 with an EHCP.

**What are we looking for?**
**Qualifications**:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. (Essential)
- Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship in Business Administration. (Essential)

- Able to work effectively as a team, under instructions and on own initiative

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- To undertake a Business Administration apprenticeship
- To support all learner enrolments throughout the academic year
- To assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and document preparation
- Coordinate appointments, meetings and events, including room bookings, equipment setup and communication with participants
- Support with maintaining records and databases, updating information and generating reports as needed
- Monitor and maintain all centre/learner records
- To meet and greet visitors and learners (customer service), addressing enquiries promptly
- To support colleagues and learners to ensure the smooth running of the education and training centre, maintaining high standards of communication, administration, safeguarding and equality and diversity
- Participate in training sessions and complete CPD to enhance skills and knowledge about the sector
**Reception and Customer Service**
- Be the first point of contact for all visitors and maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.

- Answer the centre phone professionally handle queries and deliver messages promptly
- Assist with maintaining noticeboards with accurate and up-to-date information and guidance
- Build strong relationships with learners and their families, reporting any issues which may impact learning progress to the correct colleague
**Administration**
- Assist in ensuring learner enrolments and ILRs are accurately complete
- Undertake general administrative duties.
- Manage all ordering of stationery and other resources required to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
- Follow TCHC general housekeeping procedures
- Maintain centre calendar and notify colleagues of important events
- Undertake any ad hoc tasks as required and be flexible in covering work of team members as and when necessary.
**Monitoring and Continual Improvement**
- Undertake regular CPD and record it using company documents.
