Permatt Forklift Trucks is an independent forklift company with a 500 machine hire fleet, serving the North East of England and Cumbria. Since our establishment in 1981, we have been dedicated to ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and delivering top-quality service.

**Overview**:
We are currently looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor at Permatt Forklift Trucks, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support in parts identification, ordering, and inventory management.

**Duties**:

- Identify and source parts for a variety of electrical and mechanical forklifts.
- Assist in maintaining accurate parts inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely repair and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide accurate parts information and pricing.
- Utilize company procedures for parts ordering and warranty claims.
- Uphold Health and Safety standards in all parts-related activities.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Excel for inventory management and tracking.
- Multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage parts inventory efficiently.
- Excellent phone etiquette for clear and professional customer interactions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams effectively.
