**Purpose of the role**:
**Overview of the role**:
The purpose of this role is to support the management and delivery of the BLF WCB landscape programme through efficient sourcing of materials, supplies, and services; and the creation of value for money in line with the BLF WCB landscape and ZSL 200 objectives.

The post holder will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure adherence to set procedures, and where required, put in place strategies that consider the programme budget, and guarantee adequate security for ZSL assets and the safety of its employees.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the procurement process according to ZSL standards, policies, and procedures in a transparent, accountable, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Evaluate with the team and negotiate pricing and supply contracts with providers of goods and services while ensuring that they meet BLF and ZSL specifications at the best possible prices.
- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of BLF and ZSL.
- Supervise and coordinate all matters regarding equipment and assets including communication, IT, and power.
- Locate, create, and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Proactively engage with suppliers, partners, and local authorities to plan, organise, and schedule the distribution of goods and materials as well as to ensure good coordination and adequate information sharing, address common concerns/problems, and seek solutions.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in managing and developing procurement and related activities.
- Proven knowledge of standard logistics and procurement procedures and practices.
- Prior experience working within an international non-governmental organisation in a similar or related role.
- Fluent in both English and French with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills in using MS Office packages, specifically Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent software packages will be acceptable.
- Familiarity with managing competing priorities and delegating effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
