Post No. REG043 - Registration Administrator

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to join our busy and dedicated team. You will be based at our office in The Mansion House, 4 Stow Park Circle, Newport.

Your main duties will include receiving visitors into the office, answering telephone enquiries, making registration appointments, preparing birth, death, marriage and civil partnership certificates and providing administrative support to the registration officers.

You will need to have 5 GCSEs grade A-C and significant administrative experience.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is essential and you must have clear, legible handwriting together with word processing, internet and database skills. An ability to understand, speak and write in Welsh would be an advantage.

Please Note: As clear, legible handwriting is such an important requirement of this post, a handwriting sample may be requested from short-listed applicants.
