The Oncology Patient Pathway Coordinator will play a proactive and pivotal role in registering, monitoring, and tracking patients through their cancer pathway, ensuring that each patient’s journey is processed in a timely and efficient manner in line with the National Cancer Waiting Times Targets.

The post holder will work within the Gynaecology and Oncology team to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that coordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.

To have a clear understanding of the patient pathways and have the ability to escalate potential delays to ensure optimal care and a positive patient experience.

Provide high quality, administrative support to the cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) within the Trust.

The post is based at the Birmingham Women’s site, however, there may be a requirement to work across site on occasion.
