You will be required to provide an efficient, cost effective timely and courteous Stock Management Service to all Wards and Departments within the Haywood Hospital on behalf of MPFT.

Coordinate of stock to an agreed level, data input and processing of order.

Ensure efficient working with individuals both internal and external.

The Stock Management Coordinator will, at all times, provide support to clinical staff in the provision of high quality patient-centred care.

Provide cover within the Central Facilities Office as and when required.

Provide a professional, customer focused Stock Management service to all user departments.

Using internal systems for ordering and information management in order to keep stock management and documentation up to date.

Ensure stocks are managed appropriately and cost effectively, whilst meeting customers, departmental or area needs, linking in at all times with the procurement team as required.

Carry out stock level reviews of Stock Management products at ward/departmental level, in agreement with the appointed ward/department key personnel and at an agreed frequency, to ensure that stock management reflects activity.

banked and expenditure.

To record the safe keeping of Patient Valuables according the Department Policies.

To collect cash/cheques from other departments, the night safe, empty and bank money from the payphones on a regular basis within SFI’s guidance.

To process requests for petty cash floats and reimbursement from petty cash to individuals and departments within defined limits of the policy, utilising the IMPREST system.

To process reimbursements for travelling expenses for those patients entitled to receive payments and advising them as appropriate.

To ensure that all invoices received are redirected to the relevant Departments.
