RAF Brize Norton is the largest station in the Royal Air Force with approximately 7600 personnel - a combination of military, civilian and supporting contractors, together maintaining the highly operational output of both regular and reserve units. The Station is home to the RAF's Strategic and Tactical Air Transport (AT) and Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR) forces, as well as host to many lodger units and personnel from all armed services. With its mixed fleet of aircraft RAF Brize Norton provides rapid global mobility in support of UK overseas Operations and Exercises, as well as AAR support for fast jet aircraft both on Operations and in support of UK Homeland Defence. Our mission is to “Prepare for and deliver global Air Mobility Operations”. Our Station’s vision is to Sustain Operational Excellence while we Deliver Together Safely and make RAF Brize Norton a Better Place to work and live.

The mission of the Station's Operations Support Wing (OSW) is to provide operational support to all RAF Brize Norton based and visiting aircraft. Cyberspace Operations Squadron (CyOps Sqn) comprising the Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Exploitation Flight, CIS Operations Flight, and the Station Print Centre (PRC) working collaboratively to ensure that RAF Brize Norton is prepared for and can deliver global Air Mobility Operations.

The PRC provides the station's high-volume printing capability and manages the procurement of paper, stationery and printer consumables.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
The PRT OMIT is responsible to the Print and Resource Centre (PRC) Manager for the
effective and efficient procurement of all Office Machinery and IT for the requirement on station
and parented units.

The post holder is responsible for:
Maintaining a register of all hardware/software procurement using local forms.

Utilising Government Procurement Card (GPC) where appropriate and ensuring the
necessary paperwork and registers are maintained.

The vetting, placing and hastening of all OMIT Purchases on CP&F orders.

Obtaining quotes for Office Machinery and IT and act as Point of Contact for Crown
Commercial Services and external companies.

Vetting and collation of all OMIT requests for the Station including parented units.
Seeking authority from the PRC Manager if necessary for non-catalogue requests.

Ensuring all forms/demands for OMIT consumables are checked and have relevant
authority.

Processing action on all relevant invoices, CP&F and GPC to the Excel spreadsheet
in a timely manner.

Ensuring that Ainu processes are adhered to ensuring procurement of Office
Machinery is correctly Asset Tracked.

Ensuring all office machinery is serviced and repaired as required. Including the 109 Photocopier fleet.

Providing guidance and advice to customers ensuring that the Royal Air Force
Branding and Policy Guidelines are adhered to.

Providing front desk cover for the Station PRC.

Ensuring that all visitors to the section are properly escorted.

Deputising for the PRC Stationery position (training provided) as required, covering
periods of absence.

Acting as section Environmental Protection Representative.

Any additional tasks as appropriate to the grade as directed by the PRC Manager.

**Person specification**:

- We are looking for someone who works well within a team and can also work solo, comfortable using IT and learning new computer systems to undertake the position. Should have a working understanding of office 365, Word, Excel and Outlook. CP&F courses will be required for this role and can be undertaken while training is being given.**Behaviours**:
