**About the role**
This role is part of the Records Management Team within the London Consultancy division. The London Consultancy is a revenue generating team supporting B2B clients wanting to put record breaking at the heart of a marketing campaign.
Marketing campaigns are used by companies to highlight a product or service and record breaking is one aspect that can be incorporated into a marketing campaign. The client may be doing the marketing campaign for a variety of reasons eg to celebrate anniversaries, promote corporate social responsibility, launch a product, build employee engagement. We have records available for all of these purposes. The divisions works with clients of all types including marketing agencies, brands, schools, charities and individuals across a wide region encompassing UK, Europe, India, Southern Africa and Australia/New Zealand.
The records management team oversee the creation, maintenance, and recording of records.
This role provides a creative record breaking solution service to fee paying clients based in UK and Europe although you may be asked to do this role in any of our regions.
**What you will do**:
- **Research**: conducting extensive research in various fields of knowledge around records, quickly learning basic information of the topics, summarising all information gathered, and making decisions based on record policies and standards.
- **Creativity**: you will think out of the box and offer creative record idea solutions to clients' requests
- **Project management**: constantly be working on a multitude of projects at any given time, often in a fast paced working environment. Time management and basic skills within project management to effectively manage workload is needed to succeed and progress in this role.
- **Communicate**: you will have a professional approach to communication (written and verbal) as well as having the ability to write easily understandable and well considered record guidelines (with full training).
- **Consultation**: providing record consultations to both commercial team and clients. Your time spent in contact with the client is important as a positive experience whether the record attempt is successful or not.
- **Customer Centric**:working with and servicing customers from a diverse range of industries, cultures. Supporting and guiding clients through the customer journey of attempting record titles with GWR whilst offering consistently excellent customer service.
- **Collaboration**: working alongside colleagues from various departments in Guinness World Records across the publishing and digital/TV divisions.
- **Ambassador**: Represent the brand and it's values.
**Key Tasks**:
- Writing guidelines/research/propose minimums: write grammatically correct and relevant guidelines for new titles based on existing formats and other similar records, consider all the steps thoroughly, before seeking assistance to finalise guidelines.
- Reviewing evidence: review record evidence, identify potential issues, discrepancies and fabrications. Approve the record on the database correctly.
- Internal liaising: working closely with internal project teams to understand changing project dynamics and pressures, and ensuring they're addressed.
- Risk Analysis: identifying potential challenges early in the process, so solutions and work arounds can be created quickly and efficiently.
- Complaints (internal and external customers): first contact for complaints resolution, listen and take notes, acknowledge concerns and provide initial response, escalating any medium or high-risk complaints.
- Support: provide research and knowledge support to different departments in Guinness World Records with record information and fact finding to support the proactive marketing of records for commercial use.

- Educated to degree level
- Has 3 years of professional experience
- Fully fluent or native English
- Fluent in Hindi
- Customer service experience (public facing and/or business to business)
- Experience of working with a major brand or organisation (ideally with references)
- Experience of working in or closely with creative industries
- Strong verbal & written skills
- Proven research skills
- Fast learner
- Meticulous in their work with a high attention for detail
- Problem solving, can identify an existing process to deal with the situation or issue
