Senior Project Support Officer

The post holder will provide both project and administrative support to the members of the newly established Health Protection function, and forms part of the devolution of responsibility over Health Protection from Welsh Government.
This is a critical project supporting and aligning health protection activities in the region.
The post holder will be motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen eye for attention to detail, as well as a proactive approach. The Project Support Officer will provide comprehensive project support to the Consultant in Health Protection and Regional Health Protection Manager.
The role will involve supporting the Health Protection objectives on a day-to-day basis, including the responsibility for maintaining the log of project documents, such as up to date highlight reports, plans and risk registers, organising and arranging meetings including minute taking. This role requires effective organisational skills, initiative and excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to negotiate timescales for delivery of key project documentation.
The post holder will be expected to manage their own workload while monitoring the workloads of the programme team and Health Board teams to ensure successful delivery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Working autonomously the post holder will provide high level project and administrative support by assisting in the planning and
delivery of Health Protection function, projects, work packages or products.
