Job Title: Joiner / Semi-Skilled

Location: Bathgate (EH48 2SF)

Hours: Mon to Thu: 08:00 - 16:30 & Fri: 08:00 - 15:30

**Salary**: From £15 per hour basic + premium overtime rates from £22.50 per hour

Reports to: Operations Manager

As a Joiner/System Builder you will undertake the refurbishment, fit out and installation of the complete range of Sibcas buildings to the highest possible standards, specialising in the area of joinery.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Interpret designs and carry out joinery tasks ensuring all buildings are fitted out correctly as per the drawings/specifications
- Preparation of stud walls
- Dressing and hanging doors
- Plasterboarding
- Conduct fault finding and rectifications of existing joinery installations and buildings, internally and externally, both on and off site.
- To assist all other trades in the refurbishment and fitting out of operational activities, both on and off site.
- To develop skills that allows the undertaking of other activities and trades including basic electrical, decoration and plumbing.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, Industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety.
- On occasions, there may be a need for you to assist on client sites which may require you to work away from home (expenses and accommodation will be paid).

The role may involve frequent travel within the UK, including overnight stays. Flexibility to work overtime is essential.
