HGV Technician Days Bathgate
WE ARE LOOKING FOR EITHER A FULLY OR SEMI-SKILLED HGV TECHNICIAN TO ADD SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO OUR WORKSHOP DIVISION.
The position of HGV Technician involves:
Ensure all vehicles & trailers are maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, especially in relation to oil change parameters.
Ensure all legal documents are filled out accurately and on time and are readily available for processing.
Booking out time for each job that is carried out and the relevant paperwork given to the Workshop Controllers.
Provide support and assist the Fleet Workshop office staff to meet and surpass all agreed targets.
You must ensure that you are following the company's health and safety policy at all times.
Essential skills required for HGV Technician:
~ Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair).
~ HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial.
~Basic salary for HGV Technician is £38,022pa, depending on experience and based on 40 hours per week, working Monday - Friday. OVERTIME PAID AT X 1.00 when on standby rota basis.
