**Summary**
We are looking for a Senior Administrator to provide administrative support at a senior level, including leading on medical and first aid.

**About Us**
Harris Primary Academy Purley Way has been open since 2016 and is Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' in all areas. At full capacity there will be 21 classes from Reception to Year 6. We opened with a Reception cohort and are growing by a year group at a time with currently over 400 pupils on roll from Reception to Year 6.

**Main Areas of Responsibility**
Your responsibilities will include:

- Representing the Academy in a professional and welcoming manner to all visitors, staff and students, including reception duties and telephone enquiries
- Completing first day of absence calling for all students who are absent, recording reasons on Bromcom and raising any concerns
- Assisting with pupil first aid/welfare duties
- Assisting in arrangements for school trips and events
- Leading on medicines and first aid at the academy ensuring that medical boxes and medical tracker are up to date and forms and paperwork are in and date and compliant
- Liaising with the kitchen staff and nurses as appropriate regarding medical and dietary needs
- Leading first aid updates and auditing first aid resources
- Managing the day to day receiving, paperwork and administration of any medication required, delegating responsibility as appropriate
- Dealing with complex reception/visitor etc. matters
- Coordinating the administration of medical needs and first aid
- Training and developing administrative staff
- Managing manual and computerised record/information systems
- Analysing and evaluating data and producing reports
- Providing personal, administrative and organisational support to other staff
- Undertaking administration of complex procedures
- Completing and submitting complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies
- Providing administration support to the safeguarding team
- Maintaining stock and supplies
- Assisting in ordering uniform
- Providing general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others
- Undertaking general financial administration, e.g. processing orders

**Qualifications & Experience**
We would like to hear from you if you have:

- NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
- Good numeracy/literacy skills
- Minimum of two years' school office experience
- General clerical/administrative/financial work
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for young people
- Experience of Reception duties including dealing with visitors to the Academy
