The Communications Admin Assistant will work very closely with the Junior Communications Manager and the Communications Account Director to support them to create, deliver and manage various PR and social media campaigns.

**What the role entails**:
A Communications Admin Assistant - PR & Digital is involved in providing administrative support to the communications department by performing various activities and tasks in order to ensure the clients’ communications objectives are hit.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist with the development of creative, effective PR and social media plans in line with client briefs and targets.
- Coordinate clients’ social media channels and engagement on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content, which enlightens audiences and promotes brand-focused messages for clients within the portfolio.
- Liaise with various clients, including attending meetings and regularly communicating with clients through other channels.
- Develop effective working relationships with a range of influencers who can deliver campaign support.
- Help to organise and attend client events and provide hands-on support to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates
- Create project-specific media lists to support the PR team
- Contribute to social media monitoring and reporting of results to the wider team and clients, including social media coverage, traffic, engagement and followers.
- Examine and document media coverage and track relevant PR metrics
- Responsible for the press clip archive and scanning/sourcing of materials for periodical reports
- Work collaboratively with members of the team towards smooth project delivery across teams.
- Contribute to photoshoot plans and art direction for PR and social media calendars.
- Provide high-quality, responsive and timely client services.
- Contribute to ideation, pitches and other business development activities.
- Perform a variety of different administrative tasks
- Engage in Qcademy and other learning & development opportunities, to enhance skills.
- Actively seek to stay across market trends and developments to help Q and our clients stay at the forefront of our industry in the region.

**Who you are**:
Ideally you will have:

- A recognised tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Digital Marketing.
- Ideally an internship and/or work experience in an agency.
- A strong interest in a career in the Communications, PR and/or Digital Marketing industry.
- Experience and interest in working with various social media platforms to grow clients’ social media communities.
- Creative flair and an ability to use that to bring engaging social media content to life.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as good presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, influencers and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to delivering high levels of client service to a busy portfolio of clients.
- An ability to work as part of a team to deliver services to clients.
- An ability to work with appropriate independence, seeking guidance from more senior team members when required.
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines within a busy schedule.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A commitment to professionalism including being punctual, well presented, responsive and reliable.
- A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- A commitment to stay across industry development and trends.
