JOB SUMMARY:
To manage the stock accuracy for all component stocks inclusive of all packaging materials and consumables. Liaising with both Purchasing and Finance in terms of any stock discrepancies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Weekly Perpetual Inventory checks on all stocked items and packaging materials
- Daily check on production Works Orders to reconcile actual vs. planned stocks levels.
- Investigation, analysis, and rectification of discrepancies outside agreed tolerances.
- Issue periodic QA report relating to Non-Conforming Stock and actions for resolution.
- Liaising with Finance in respect of stock counts, stock losses and gains.
- Identify slow moving and aged stocks (SMOB).
- Control of trial/test materials and of any rework processes
- Ensure that all stock returned from production is identified and put away accurately.
- Liaising with Technical and Quality teams arrange disposal of material or returns to suppliers in accordance with documented procedures.
- Compulsory attendance and control at stock counts.
- Any other reasonable duties or tasks as per management instruction.
- Ensure that all Company 'Health and Safety’ standards, protocols and procedures are always adhered to and always working in a 'Health and Safety’ conscious manner.
- Ensure high levels of communication and effective working relationships between all internal departments. Fully embracing the Company’s culture and values at all times.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA’s):

- Maintaining stock accuracy inline with the company’s inventory controls.
- Deliverance of all stock counts.
- Management of all warehouse work schedules and personnel development and training.
- Maintaining the highest levels of product quality, efficiencies, and costs for all warehouse shipments.
- Up-holding all H&S and regulatory requirements and documentation, in-line with all ISO:9001-2015 policies and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s)
- Inventory accuracy and controls.
- SMOB stocks.
- Housekeeping.

CORE COMPETENCIES:
Detail competencies specific for the job
- Qualifications and/or experience in stock control management.
- A successful and demonstrable track record of stock controlling in a high-volume, fast-moving warehouse environment with manufacturing activities.
- Awareness and/or best practice experience in the stock control of materials with an emphasis on shelf-life, FIFO, and obsolescence management.
- A team player that is appreciative of the overall Company objectives and thus being able to work with other departments to achieve the common business goals
- Strongly committed to promoting quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Up to-date knowledge of legislative and ISO:9001 requirements in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS:
Good verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT literacy and high level of proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Word/Excel is essential.
- Must have HLOP License
- Recent Stock Control experience is essential, ideally a minimum of 2 year’s recent experience in FMCG or other fast-moving product environments.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility on working hours and duties.
- 'Can do’ approach.
- High quality standards, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Working hours - Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 (1hr break) Friday 08.30 - 16.30 (30min break)

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £12.55-£13.33 per hour
