**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor and update inventory records using computer software.

**Receiving and Dispatch**:

- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Assist in the packing and labeling of products for dispatch.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for efficient loading and unloading.

**Data Entry**:

- Enter inventory data into the company's computer system.
- Maintain electronic and physical records of inventory transactions.
- Generate reports as required for management.

**Stock Organisation**:

- Organize and arrange stock within the warehouse for easy access and retrieval.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and well-maintained.

**Communication**:

- Collaborate with team members to address stock discrepancies or issues.
- Communicate with suppliers, drivers, and other relevant parties as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with numerical data.
- Good organizational skills to maintain an efficient stock control system.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects as necessary.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

**Job Types**: Temp to perm, Part-time
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.92 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Stock taking: 1 year (preferred)
