Our IHWS programme is designed to support individuals and families to improve their health behaviours and make sustainable changes to their lifestyle. The programme consists of five key services;
- Stop smoking support
- Tailored physical activity programmes
- Adult weight management
- Child/family weight management
- Health Coaching _(this is where you come in)_

The focus of this role is to support a team of Specialist Health Coaches to deliver our evidence-based health improvement interventions (including weight management and smoking cessation programmes), targeting groups within the community who will benefit from a more tailored approach. These target groups include pregnancy, learning difficulties, physical difficulties, mental health and global majority groups. Your role will also include development and delivery of the health coaching programme.

A typical day as a **Specialist Health Coach Lead**_ _might include:

- Closely monitoring the progress of the health coaching programme, reviewing performance against KPI’s and producing summary reports when required
- Leading a team of Specialist Health Coaches, enabling them to effectively carry out their role whilst maintaining the ethos and success of Thrive Tribe
- Forming part of Nottingham’s IHWS Management Team, working closely with the Head of Service and wider Healthy Lifestyles and Physical Activity Leads, to focus on strategic and operational development
- Delivering tailored evidence-based interventions to targe groups that focus on diet, nutrition, physical activity, smoking cessation and behaviour change
- Working closely with the Quality and Training team to ensure that your teams training and observations are up to date
- Monitoring demand for clinics and working with GPs and key community partners to organise face-to-face clinics in areas most suitable for client demand
- Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments - we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources
- Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
- Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values
