**About the role**:
**Head of Regional Sales - North**

**Do you have a passion for selling? Are you a self confessed foodie?**

Bidfood are looking for a Head of Regional Sales to lead their northern regional account team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base via the regional account team.

You will need to ensure you have an effective sales strategy which is communicated to the team and ensure that they are trained and supported as necessary to enable them to achieve their new business and existing business growth targets.

You will be able to demonstrate strong motivational and people management skills within a sales environment. You will be an effective communicator in various situations and to a wide ranging audience.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Creating key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans.
- Own and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Tactical budget and target setting for the depots, team and individuals.

**Minimum requirements are**:

- Proven sales experience of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Previous experience as a sales manager.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Demonstrable experience developing client-focused differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to influence and manage team results through the team managers.
