**SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER**

- We have a new permanent opportunity for a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to work with a world leader within the Defence sector
- Based in Westbury (Wiltshire) in an easily accessible location
- Must be eligible to gain UK SC clearance
- £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum + Full Benefits

**OVERVIEW DETAILS**:
This role will report directly to the Integration & Test Manager, working primarily on land-based training systems, helping to develop on-the-ground virtual training solutions for customers in Defence markets, giving you exposure to early warning radar systems.This role will be a mixture of Hardware Integration & Software Testing so you will ideally have experience with both. You will be involved in all aspects of system-level integration and test activities throughout the integration and test life cycle.

**YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A WIDE RANGE OF ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING**:

- Translate system requirements into appropriate Test specifications
- Ensuring that Test activities are carried out in accordance with programme & internal standards
- Investigation and analysis of complex system level faults
- Collaborating with test leadership to design and use appropriate progress metrics
- Any additional Programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence and skill set
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organisation both internally and with the customer

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Solid understanding of the test process life cycle and toolsets (e.g. DOORS, Jira and automated test tools e.g. Selenium or similar)
- The ability to communicate complex technical information, both verbally and written, to various stakeholders and within the test engineering team
- Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the Test Engineering lifecycle
- The ability to manage tasks and priorities to ensure that assigned workload is delivered when required

**DESIRABLE SKILLS**:

- Exposure to synthetic training and simulation systems
- Exposure to radar technology
- Exposure to Model-Based Testing concepts and tools (SysML, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
- Experience of working within MoD programme frameworks
- Experience of Agile development methodologies
- ISTQB Accreditation
