**Advance Training Centre Receptionist/Administrator - Mary Lyon Centre**

**Full time (36 hours per week) or part time (afternoon hours)**

**£20,484 - £21,571 per annum (depending on experience), pro-rata for part time**

**About Us**:The Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell (MLC) is located in an expanding science innovation park in Oxfordshire and is an internationally renowned centre at the forefront of genetics research. As the hub of the new National Mouse Genetics Network, the specialistfacilities and capabilities of the MLC support a number of distinct research clusters spread across the UK to accelerate our understanding of human disease.

**About the Role**:
You will be a key support in providing a meet and greet service for visitors, providing hospitality, support and logistics for training courses, events and meetings. The role includes general administrative duties, answering telephone calls, stocktaking,raising purchase orders, processing orders and invoices within budgetary guidelines.

**About You**:
You will be confident in dealing with internal and external collaborators, have strong organisational, team-working and time-management skills, a good understanding of Microsoft Office and excellent attention to detail. You are self-motivated, quick to learnand flexible enough to support the team on a diverse portfolio of activities while being able to prioritise well. You will bring good communication skills with an ability to build effective working relationships with a range of partners.
