**The Opportunity**

We are currently recruiting for a**Head of Planning and Revenue Management **to lead the define/design/delivery of the IPN revenue management strategy (price/promo/trade/mix) & execution plan, working as a critical link between the sales & marketing (commercial) teams, and owning the overall annual planning process for the commercial team, and in year execution process thereafter.

Our family of brands include Harringtons, Wagg, Barking Heads & Meowing Heads, AATU and a selection of partner brands that trust us to produce food on their behalf. Our kitchens in Thirsk and Kinmel produce dry, wet, and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world.

**Scope of the role**:

- Role will be responsible for total IPN business price, promo, trade & mix - setting the strategy, delivering this through the sales teams, and ensuring execution in line with plan
- Functional sales leadership role
- Single category (Pet), multiple brands and partitions within
- Team size >5
- Business size > £200Mill

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Define/design/deliver the IPN revenue management strategy, with full accountability and autonomy for pricing, promotion, trade & mix strategy and execution
- Own channel guidelines & setting the required frameworks to enable IPN to win cross channel
- Lead delivery of the strategy through the sales team, and in close partnership with marketing (incl. ensuring delivery of strategy and adherence to guidelines)
- Ensure the strategy delivers profitable sales, brand & category growth through price/promo/trade/mix
- Provide inspirational support & leadership to the sales relevant team, including continuously coaching, develop supporting and training revenue management capabilities
- Represent the Commercial Team with key internal stakeholders and support on group wide commercial initiatives as required
- Ensure sufficient proximity to sales/customers to build the required level of knowledge to enable the delivery of winning plans
- Lead the annual planning process for the commercial team, owning the overall process & development of the operating plan, with additional accountability for the SRM strategy therein, to ensure delivery of targets
- Own the longer term (+2mths) SRM value creation plan, ensuring plan to deliver annual pricing requirements is built on a longer-term horizon
- Leadership role in defining commercial strategy (incl. customer & portfolio prioritization matrix)
- Overall accountability for delivery of revenue and margin accretion targets.
- Support portfolio & innovation development, ensuring brand plans entering the right territories for future profitable growth.
- Contribute to the commercial leadership team, driving SRM mindset & capability, and delivering key strategic projects whilst delivering IPN’s strategic sales objectives & targets through coordinated and aligned cross team working
- Drive up the SRM capability within IPN, ensuring mindset & capability development
- Provide inspirational leadership to build the SRM & sales team to deliver sustainable results because all their colleagues are engaged, focused, and delivering to their potential
- Role may also require the development of new systems, processes and tools required to enable the delivery of targets.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Degree calibre with post graduate depth of business understanding
- Significant commercial expertise in a FTSE or comparable business, which must include previous SRM, commercial strategy or MS&P experience
- FMCG operational understanding and cross functional experience, which must include SRM or MS&P experience
- Growth Mindset
- Advanced presentation, PowerPoint and excel skills
- Strong understanding of revenue management
- Experience managing budgets effectively
- Experience of working on operational Leadership Team supporting ongoing operational business growth
- Pet experience is desirable

- Salary:Competitive
- Hours:40 - Monday to Friday
- Bonus:10%
- £100 fuel bonus per month to assist with the rise in fuel costs
