Our client is looking for a Facilities Helpdesk Operative to work within the property team. The main responsibility of the role is to receive calls from customers and tenants, update relevant systems with detailed notes and assign work orders.

**Role Includes**:

- Effectively communicate with customers, both internally and externally, to receive, record, and distribute service calls using the council's help desk software.
- Efficiently capture job stories from clients and write problem definitions that provide clear instructions to engineers regarding the scope of the work.
- Identify the root cause of client-reported problems and ensure that any health and safety issues affecting an engineer's ability to complete the job are documented in the job story.
- Allocate tasks to internal scheduling teams or external resources in an organised and efficient manner.
- Deliver a professional, efficient, and effective service experience to both internal and external customers.
- Meet individual performance targets and actively support the team or department in achieving broader performance goals.
- Experienced with data management systems.
- Previous experience in a customer focused role
- Excellent telephone manner
- IT Literacy with Microsoft Office
