Job Description 1

Information Management (IM) is a collaborated BCH (Beds, Cambs & Herts) department incorporating various business areas within Organisational Support. One of the business areas within IM is the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Unit.

The purpose of the DBS unit is to safeguard children & vulnerable adults by assessing, reviewing & providing information to the Disclosure and Barring service customers and partners. As well as processing Common Law police Disclosures post-employment.

The Disclosure & Barring Service Practitioners will be based at **Letchworth Police Station**. The DBS Herts team is part of a collaborated unit across BCH with a team of approximately 40. There is one full time, 37 hr post available and working hours will be 8am until 4pm Mon to Fri. DBS are open to reasonable adjustments.
