About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a GCSE English Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to learners in Letchworth Garden City and Henlow, helping them to achieve their academic goals and build their confidence in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective tuition to learners, creating lesson plans that cater to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians and teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
