Ackerman Pierce work closely with County Councils and Schools to provide one to one tutoring for children waiting for school placements. The children we are looking to support have a range of additional complex needs and so we are seeking experienced SEN /HLTA's/tutors/teachers.
We are currently recruiting for Specialist Outreach Tutors to provide face to face provision to students who need access to Alternative provision, this could be due to SEN/SEMH so experience in this is required. The role is to start from ASAP.
Position - GCSE Outreach Tutor - SEN/SEMH Experience
Start date - ASAP
Contract type - Temporary
Rate of pay £27 - £35 per hour
Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Prepared to work face to face within the community.Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.We can offer a unique experience within recruitment where you have your own personal consultant who is available 16 hours a day, a DBS fully paid for by Ackerman Pierce and a Compliance service with a quick and easy registration process.
