Ambulance Care Assistant

**Job description**
Cartello Ambulance are a leading private ambulance service.
We work in partnership with the NHS to provide Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services across the UK, We are currently expanding in South Wales with a new depot opening in Caldicott.
We have shifts available for Part Time, Full Time, Bank Staff, Zero Hours, and Contracted work.
Hours can vary.
Exact rota and shift patterns will be discussed during interview.
Due to the nature of the role, we do require flexibility as we operate 7 days per week.
**What will I be doing?**
Supporting and aiding our patients to walk, travel in a wheelchair, or stretcher to and from their hospital appointments, transfer from care home to care home or home to care home ensuring they are kept at ease whilst in your care. You will be driving a long wheelbase ambulance and will be required to clean it at the end of every shift.
We will provide you with all the training to help you do your job amazingly well

**What experience will I need?**
- A full UK manual driving license (for approx. 2 years or more)
- Applicants must be over 21 for insurance purposes
- No more than 6 points/endorsements on your driving license
- A warm, caring, and welcoming personality
- Strong work ethic and the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver patient care
- Physically fit for patient handling and moving
