**About the Role and Person**
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent
- Covering Pendle, Burnley and Tameside (NW)

As a Repairs and Void Surveyor, your core role and focus is all about working with internal & external colleagues and external contractors to ensure we deliver a first class responsive repairs service and set the lettable void standard and ensure all voids meet the quality standards required. You will take a lead role for the region in managing the responsive repairs and voids service and influencing delivery methods and the overall customer experience. We want our people and our customers to be proud of the homes we provide and you have a key part to play in this.

Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

- HNC Building or equivalent, or qualified through experience
- Attained or working towards a technical qualification - maintenance / construction
- Evidence of regular study in support of continued professional development
- Strong and demonstrable contract, performance and budget management knowledge / skills
- Ability to interpret legislation and understand building products and their associated life cycles
- Be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, working with mínimal supervision
- Good interpersonal communications and time management skills
- Be a team player
- Customer focus - able to see service provided through the customers’ eyes
- Honesty and integrity
- Be confident to challenge
- Numeracy and literacy skills essential. IT literacy, as well as the ability to use company operational software
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use

**Location**

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system

**Salary**

The spot salary for this post is £33,726 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

This post will also receive a car allowance of £1,250 per annum.
