Are you a Production & Material Planner looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Thirsk with the appointment of a Production & Material Planner. We are looking for somebody with previous planning experience who is confident in their role and can utilize their knowledge and expertise within a new company.

On offer is an excellent opportunity where you will plan all aspects of short term production including planning production of finished goods, balancing capacity and the planning and procurement of raw materials.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Perform daily production schedules in accordance with the required batch size, available capacity and raw materials.
- Review of order status with supply chain stakeholders (Production, QC, Internal logistics, etc.)
- Contribute to inventory quality and accuracy using remaining shelf-life reviews of sensitive items, inventory recycling and sharing, requesting physical inventory checks when needed.
- Provide timely and relevant information on problem raw materials to the production planning and customer experience teams and escalating where appropriate.

- Contribute to team success, quality orientation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, partnership and influencing skills in English.
- Proven ability to operate and collaborate in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly analytical and able to make decisions within defined parameters.
