**The role’s key responsibilities are**:

- Coordinate and manage ocean/air freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping/flight schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing prioritises and handle unforeseen circumstances.
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Lead the operations team ensuring all the team are meeting SOP requirements for the varied customers we have.
- Assisting Branch Manager with month end procedure and day to day financial reporting.

**What we need from you**:
Essential Skills
You will have experience of working within Ocean and Air Freight, including knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations and national and international shipping documentation. You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. With a proactive and results-driven approach, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service you will be a self-starter with a commitment to excellence.
