Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK.
The Clientis a medium secure 112 bedded unit spanning over 7 wards, caring for people with mental illness, personality disorders and learning disabilities.
We are looking for **experienced and non experienced HCAs** to join our growing team. In return for your skills and experience, we will offer you a supportive environment where you can grow and develop.
**As part of the team, you will be involved in;**
- Participating as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of care as agreed in individual care plans.
- Developing therapeutic relationships with service users, remaining conscious of the limits and boundaries of a professional relationship
- Completing all relevant documentation in accordance with the clients Recruitment’s procedures and professional guidelines
- Ensuring patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected and that the clients professional policies are adhered to.
- Supporting patients to achieve their full recovery potential which includes, supervising some community activity
- Support the safe and secure management of our patients by working within the risk assessments and Positive Behaviour Plans
We are looking for **full time (37.5 hours) and part time (minimum 21.5 hours)**. You must be able to work the following shift pattern for full time, or for part time the shift start and end times but on reduced days.
Day shift is 7:25 am - 7:45pm
Night shift is 7:25pm-7:45am
Each shift is 10.75 hours long and you will receive a 1 ½ hour break.
For full time we look at a rota over a two week period, within this time, this averages out at 37.5 hours a week paid.
