At Moredun, we support 7 individuals who live in their own homes in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh and are recruiting for two core teams in the service.

**Team 1**:
In this team, you’ll support a young lady with mental health concerns and autism to live the best life possible. This lady is profoundly deaf but communicates well with gestures and body language, so she needs people who are patient and attentive to help ensure her needs are being met.

She loves spending time with family, getting her hair and nails done, dancing, going to day centres, shopping and socialising. Her preference is to be supported by
**female staff** and we can offer
**24-37.5 hours per week** on a
**permanent contract**.

**Team 2**:
In this team, you’ll support 6 gentlemen with mental health concerns, autism and physical disabilities to live independently in their own homes. The men we support enjoy a wide range of activities, including socialising, watching movies, shopping, cooking, sports, music and travelling. However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.

Experience of Positive Behaviour Support would be beneficial in this team, but if you’ve not got this, we’ll provide the training you need to ensure you’re successful in your role. In this team, we can offer
**24-37.5 hours per week** on
**permanent contracts** and would welcome
**male or female staff**.
