This company is offering a great opportunity for someone to gain valuable customer service experience in an office-based environment. The company are a leading insurance provider, based St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

On a day to day basis, you will be taking calls from customers who simply need your assistance and you will provide them with first-class customer service.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain experience in an office, work in a fantastic team, and develop your skills.

**Customer Service Agent / Insurance Technician**

The role is full time and permanent, 37.5 hours a week. You will work on a shift basis as below:
Week 1 - 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 10 to 6pm Monday to Friday

Week 3 - 10:30 to 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8.30 to 4 (if working Saturday, you will be give a day off in the week in lieu)

Insurance for Motorhomes and Campervans and classic cars.

This is a predominantly phone-based role. Customer communications mainly through a dialler system **- NO “cold calling”.**

Insurance Technician - this is not an aggressive sales environment, and full training will be provided. Classroom, Academy through to graduation to the Contact Centre. full support and coaching are provided throughout the entirety of your employment.

The purpose of this role is to maximise customer sales through providing an enhanced customer experience.

Excellent customer service and effective Administration

You will be working in the bespoke market dealing with unique vehicles CAMPERVANS AND MOTORHOMES and CLASSIC CARS

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering inbound telephone calls.
- Making outbound telephone calls (no “cold calling”)
- Willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
- Effectively communicate with customers to provide relevant product information that is clear, fair, and not misleading allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
- Understand customers issues and recommend solutions.
- Maximise targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills.
- Use all relevant information to optimise opportunities to cross sell and up sell insurance products.
- Evidence excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Manage time effectively to meet required business targets ensuring quality and accuracy requirements are met.
- Commit to own personal development.
- Adhere to Company processes with regards to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Data Protection Act (DPA) and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) requirements.

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
