Hermitage Academy are seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated Assistant Head of Mathematics from September 2023 to join our team.

This appointment will be based in Hermitage Academy where we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a school that has undergone real change and is on a strong, upward trajectory.

This is an exciting post that will offer you the chance to work with the Head of Mathematics in leading a large department. We are looking for a colleague who is a strong practitioner and who is able to work and lead a team, someone who is creative and able to plan and implement effective strategies to support learning. You will play a significant role in raising standards.

Hermitage Academy is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive school with a rapidly growing sixth form (where mathematics A-Level is popular choice) and over 1000 students from Chester-le-Street and the surrounding areas.
