Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised, adaptable Clerical Assistant to provide business support on a full-time basis. This is a temporary ongoing role and will be hybrid working with some days at home and others at the office based in Inverness. Our client is looking for somebody who is available to start immediately. The pay rate for this position is £10.85 p/h.

Key tasks will include but will not be limited to:

- Information management, including storage and retrieval of documents and management of information required by services to support service specific processes.
- Personnel and payroll administration including training, leave and all types of absence.
- Financial transactions including purchasing goods and services, paying for goods and services, raising invoices and internal transactions.
- Facilities management, including controlling use of meeting rooms and other facilities.
- Scheduling, including organising meetings
- Customer contact including dealing with visitors to premises.
- Service specific business support processes.
- The post holder will be expected to supervise other staff as appropriate
- The post holder will be expected to act on their own initiative with a minimum of supervision.
- The post holder will be expected to assist in the training/coaching of new members of staff as required.
- The post holder will be required to comply with the relevant Policies and Regulations, including personnel, financial regulations and information management.

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

- Experience in working in a business support environment.
- Ability to cope with diverse work activities.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to adopt new working practices and procedures.
- Good level of interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to organise and plan activities to meet tight timescales and targets.
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral form.
- Commitment to providing a quality business support service.
- Good general education along with relevant qualification at SQV Level 2 or

equivalent experience.
