Junior IT Service Desk Analyst / Junior IT Helpdesk Engineer required by professional services organisation with around 100 users (working onsite and remotely). You will join the small IT team within an entry level capacity and provide support and IT customerservices at the 1st line, escalating issues to the other team members as required whilst undertaking smaller IT projects, enabling you to develop your IT experience and understanding.
The main focus of the role will be to provide high quality 1st line IT support relating to desktop technologies including laptops, PC and mobile devices; Win10/Win11, O365 inc Outlook and MS Teams, LAN/Wireless and VPN connections. You will also gain experiencewith AD/GPo/AzureAD, Windows Server/Azure, InTune (mobile devices), MS OneDrive file server / access management DNS setting etc. The majority of the support work will be undertaken over the phone and by remote session with some walk-ups to the desk for configsand hardware support. Other desktop support work will be escalated to the relevant engineers.
We are searching for a Junior IT Service Desk Analyst / Junior IT Helpdesk Engineer / Junior IT Support Analyst / Customer Service Advisor who has gained some experience working on a helpdesk / service desk. This may have been an IT Service Desk or anotherHelp Desk where you have provided customer services to business users (either internal or external customers). You may have held a relevant permanent position of this nature, for a period, or have undertaken a placement year as part of your IT focussed Degree(Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Computer Networking etc).
You may have gained some experience in IT and as such any ability with the following would be of interest: Win 10, Win 11, MS O365 (inc MS Outlook, MS Teams), creating and managing user accounts in Active Directory (and possible AzureAD), MS OneDrive (fileand access management), Networking including Wireless Network Connections/LAN Connections, Mobile Devices - iPhones, iPad, Android O/S.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their IT Career who wishes to gain real world, hands-on experience in a small to mid-size, professional services environment which is heavily reliant upon IT. You will gain genuine knowledge and experiencevery quickly (which cannot be achieved in larger environments) and rapidly develop your career in IT. Hybrid working conditions (3/2) with easy access via mainline and DLR services (Woolwich, South East London) as well as onsite parking.
