We’re looking for a Social Content Designer to enhance our Content Production team in Virgin Media O2’s Brand studio. You’ll bring to life VMO2’s digital and social content creating new concepts and ideas to engage our audience and customers. You’ll be producing social first content for brand campaigns across the VMO2 portfolio. This is a new role to the team, we want you to bring new ideas and concepts to the table. As part of our studio you’ll have support from established brand guidelines, and internal teams; design, brand management, production, Social media and copywriters to help create the best assets as well and custom video and motion content for all our brand’s social platforms.

Social content creation can be fast paced, while needing meticulous attention to detail - a check everything twice attitude, even when the timings are tight. A portfolio that demonstrates strong creative thinking.

Key accountabilities

What you’ll do:

- Creating video, animation and graphic content cross-channel social campaigns
- Proactively working with the extended team on content creation for brand campaigns
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for digital and social platforms
- Researching to keep up-to-date with new social and digital first content formats and trends
- Creating graphic and motion social media content
- Be bold and innovative in exploring new ideas
- Provide creative steer to the design team during the content creation process
- Ensure contents reflect the brand tone and remain consistent on all platforms
- Postproduction animation and video editing

Who we are

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Super creative and full of content and brand-building ideas
- Experience in content and social media on either client-side or agency
- Familiar with developing creative content for social channels, specifically Instagram and TikTok
- Excellent skills in After Effects across a range of styles including, but not limited to, illustration, character, typographic, shape and image animation
- Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop and well versed in Premiere
- Confident in idea conceptualisation, design, development and production

We'd also love you to bring;
- Strong attention to detail (striving for perfection in execution) while working quickly and accurately
- Confident managing relationships and expectations with stakeholders
- Ability to handle numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints; you must be unflappable and able to multi-task
