**Job Title: Purchasing Administrator(Permanent25 Hours p/w)**
**Location: Watton**
**Salary: 11-11.50 p/h**
Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist engineering recruitment company based in Norfolk. We are proud to be working on behalf of a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems.
A new permanent opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Administrator to join a successful and dynamic team and business.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
Creation, review and maintenance of supplier accounts (domestic and international) on the Company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in line with the Company Quality Management System
Compilation and issue of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) documents, then subsequent review and negotiation with suppliers as appropriate
Review of actual purchase prices against Sales Order costings and liaising with the Sales team as appropriate
Creation, placement, maintenance and expediting of Purchase Orders on the Company ERP system to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, components and services
Liaising with Production Planning to ensure that delivery of materials and components does not adversely affect production and shipping schedules.
Liaising with Goods-In to efficiently resolve delivery discrepancies as and when required
Timely resolution of Invoice query as and when required
Assistance with the annual stock take if required (Counting stock, data entry, etc)
This is a part time role of circa 25 hours per week, working as part of a small Purchasing team where priorities can change on a daily basis. Specific working days & hours to be agreed at time of offer, and there is the possibility of additional hours whencovering for holidays and sickness.
Prior experience of ERP systems is not a pre-requisite and full training will be given if required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc) is highly desirable.
