We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper - with potential to go full-time in the future - to play a key role within an outsourcing company where you will be a huge source of support in other small businesses The ability to (1) work effectively both with others and on your own, (2) have a friendly positive attitude, and (3) communicate often & effectively are all very highly valued qualities for working within this company.

You should know, we provide a vital service for small businesses as a unique, innovative, easy-to-use outsourcing solution for small to medium businesses.

This role should be MUCH more interesting than the day-to-day bookkeeping position, as you will be helping to support a handful of clients on their journey to success You will be:

In this role, you'll likely be asked to help clients with a large variety of thing, including:

- Bank Reconciliations
- Recording Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger & Bank Transactions
- Completing VAT Returns
- Preparing General Ledger Journals & various Financial Reports
- Adhoc Bookkeeping, Accounts & Financial Spreadsheet Tasks
- Answering Incoming Calls from & on behalf of Clients
- Adhoc Administrative tasks - both internally & for clients

Necessary:
1. Bookkeeping experience (2-4 years)

2. Able to use & adapt to new softwares

3. Strong Excel Skills

4. Experience with accounting softwares

5. Advanced Communication Skills

7. Effective Time Management

8. Excellent written and spoken English

9. Customer care experience

10. Administrative Experience

There is a specific set of attributes that we hope to maintain within our company, and these are integral to the company's overall services & ethos - we hope to recruit someone with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, who is a team player, personable & friendly personality with a careful attention to detail and a willingness to do things differently to how they might have done in the past.

Although this role is a remote one, we actually need someone local to Leeds/Wakefield and can drive, because in this particular instance, we have a client that may want them to come in once or twice every 2-week period.

Part-time hours: 5-25 per week

**Salary**: £31,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
