**Role: Sales Administrator**

**Location: Gateshead**

**Working hours: 08:30am-16:30pm Monday - Friday (flexibility required)**

**Salary: £20-£23k**

My client is looking for someone who enjoys coming to work each day and being part of a team who provide "results that matter" in establishing the right product that will improve our customers daily lives. Our mission is to continually develop our staff,products and services we offer to exceed our customer and employee expectations.

You will be based at the business HQ in Gateshead. The role will support the existing sales activities of the business with a focus on sales administration, order processing and preparing quotations. This position is ideal for someone who has very good organisationalskills, time management, a keen eye for detail and most importantly a team player.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Prepare quotations for customers using a defined sales process for monthly and ad hoc service work, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts, call outs and repairs based on information provided by the company or Sales teams and provide these either directlyto customers or to the Sales team where appropriate, including liaising professionally with suppliers when required.
- Proactively contact customers to secure purchase order numbers where appropriate
- Promptly react to any queries received making the appropriate member of the Sales team aware of each query.
- Manage the incoming sales inbox
- Manage the orders inbox according to a defined procedure to ensure all orders are processed correctly and contacting the appropriate departments to ensure the requirements of each customer's orders are fulfilled.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity & customer communication using the appropriate internal systems
- Build and maintain a collaborative and constructive working relationships with colleagues
- Assist in the administrative activities required to run the office efficiently including answering incoming calls appropriately
- Data entry of key operational information
- Ensure records are filed correctly on our electronic systems
- Generate customer delivery notes as required
- Superb communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative to improve current internal practices
