Are you a generalist HR Officer or HR Advisor, experienced in managing a wide range of HR Operational duties? If so, I'd be keen to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing HR function which has recently gone through a significant and exciting organisational change. You will report into the Head of HR and manage all the HR Operations activities for the business.

Key responsibilities of the HR Officer:

- To support the Head of HR UK and HRBP with ER matters, including coaching and advising line managers on issues such as grievances, disciplinary, absence management, performance management, succession planning and restructure.
- To support the HR team in developing and implementing HR strategies, aimed at improving business performance via effective people management.
- To be responsible for day-to-day HR administration including database and people file management, production of monthly/quarterly HR statistical reports, employee lifecycle administration, internal communications and spreadsheet maintenance and developments.
- Support with maintaining and revising the company's employee handbook and policies and procedures in accordance with changes to employment legislation and/or business needs.
- Reviewing and delivering the HR onboarding program to new starters.
- Perform right to work and reference checks.
- To support the HR team with the implementation, review and maintenance and delivery of training programmes for different stages of employee life cycle for all employees.
- Provide support for the HR systems.
- To provide support with payroll queries and processing to ensure the smooth running of the monthly payroll, salary review cycles, bonuses and any other ad hoc payments.
- To provide support with acquisition projects as and when required.
- To provide support with apprenticeship management and levy requirements maintaining positive relationships with third party providers.
Key requirements for the HR Officer:

- You will be an experienced HR professional who has gained exposure to all aspects of operational HR.
- You will have a proven track record of assisting with ER, recruitment as well as HR Policy Management.
- Ideally you will possess a degree in Human Resources Management, or related qualification such as CIPD (full or part qualified), however this is not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- You will be team player who is self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to duties and have excellent organisational skills.
- Have excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- It would be desirable if you previously worked within a HR Shared Service function or a contact centre where manager self-service has been successfully embedded.
- Ideally you will have previously utilised the Workday HR system, if not, it is essential that you have strong working knowledge of HR systems.
- Strong experience collating and preparing MI data is key.
